The University of Ghana (UG) has issued an important notice to all prospective students following the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The university’s Academic Affairs Directorate advises applicants to log in to the UG applications portal to ensure the accuracy of their details.
Applicants are encouraged to review their full name, date of birth, and examination records, including index numbers, exam months, and exam years.
Additionally, UG has reminded applicants to consult the 2023/2024 cut-off aggregates for various programs, which are available on the university’s admissions website.
This is to help candidates make realistic choices when selecting their preferred programs.
For those who are yet to apply, applications for the 2024/2025 academic year are still open.
Prospective students can purchase e-vouchers at designated banks or through the USSD code *887*9# on all mobile networks. The university has also announced that the application portal will close at midnight on Friday, January 3, 2024.
