“NDC will address corruption and unemployment,” says Prof. Opoku-Agyemang.
The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, says her party is prepared to tackle the pressing issues of corruption and unemployment, which she claims have plagued Ghana under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking to NDC supporters at Ayinase in the Ellembelle Constituency, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the significance of the NDC’s 8th position on the ballot paper for the upcoming elections.
According to the NDC’s running mate, Ghanaians must vote for her party in the upcoming December 7 polls to create employment opportunities for the population.
She highlighted a couple of the NDC’s promised policies that she said will drive employment when the party wins the polls.
“The Women’s Development Bank is coming. The National Apprenticeship Programme is also coming and the NDC will bring you the Big Push to create jobs.
“Mr. Mahama is a hardworking and trusted leader with a solid record of achievements. He builds schools, markets, hospitals, roads and many other infrastructure projects across the country. And he will do it again when elected.
“People are hungry, people are suffering, and the youth are struggling to find jobs. But we have a chance to change all of these. On election day, we must seize the opportunity and vote for the NDC. We will use the eighth position on the ballot to break the corruption that has engulfed the country.”
