The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has announced that the next phase of its 2024 recruitment exercise will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 9 AM at the Fire Academy and Training School in Jamestown, Accra.
In a public notice, the GNFS stated that successful applicants will proceed through several stages: Body Selection, Documentation, and Medical Examinations.
During the Body Selection phase, candidates are evaluated for their physical suitability for fire service work. The Documentation phase involves verifying birth certificates and academic qualifications.
Candidates who pass these stages will then undergo medical examinations, the costs of which they are responsible for covering.
The GNFS cautioned unsuccessful applicants and the public against paying anyone who claims they can guarantee recruitment, emphasizing that no payments are necessary to secure a place in the process.
This recruitment initiative, which began with a public announcement in August, aims to fill various roles within the service.
